Electrical Engineer

An electrical engineer working for a Chinese restaurant oversees the design, installation, and maintenance of high-volume kitchen equipment, HVAC, and power distribution systems. Ensure all commercial operations run safely and comply with local regulatory codes

Core Responsibilities:

1.Manage electrical servicing, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance for heavy-duty restaurant appliances (e.g., Wok ranges, industrial steamers, dim sum carts, and walk-in freezers) to prevent business downtime.

2.Design and evaluate the facility's power systems, ensuring the main supply can handle the high concurrent electrical loads of multiple high-heat commercial appliances.

3.Maintain and optimize commercial kitchen ventilation, exhaust hoods, and air handling units to meet strict local air quality and fire safety codes.

4.Ensure all electrical installations strictly follow the Philippine Electrical Code (PEC) or relevant local safety regulations. Conduct routine safety audits to minimize fire and electrocution hazards.

5.Coordinate with external contractors or equipment manufacturers to install new electrical panels and kitchen upgrades, reviewing vendor submittals and supervising on-site work
