Job Summary

The Sales Operations Associate is responsible for providing excellent customer service, assisting walk-in customers with their purchases, processing sales transactions accurately, and supporting the day-to-day operations of the store. The role ensures a positive customer experience while maintaining efficient sales and cashiering operations.

Key ResponsibilitiesCustomer Service

• Welcome and assist walk-in customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Respond to customer inquiries and provide accurate product information.
• Recommend suitable products based on customer needs and preferences.
• Resolve customer concerns or complaints promptly and escalate issues when necessary.
• Build and maintain positive customer relationships to encourage repeat business.

Sales

• Promote and sell company products and services to achieve individual and team sales targets.
• Prepare quotations and process customer orders.
• Monitor product availability and coordinate with the appropriate department regarding stock requirements.
• Upsell and cross-sell products whenever appropriate.
• Maintain product displays and ensure merchandise is organized and presentable.

Cashiering

• Accurately process cash, card, digital, and other approved payment transactions.
• Issue official receipts, invoices, and other necessary sales documents.
• Ensure proper cash handling procedures are followed at all times.
• Perform daily cash reconciliation and submit reports at the end of each shift.
• Report any cash discrepancies immediately to the supervisor.

Sales Operations

• Maintain accurate records of sales transactions and customer information.
• Assist in inventory monitoring, stock receiving, and stock replenishment.
• Ensure the sales area is clean, organized, and compliant with company standards.
• Coordinate with warehouse and logistics personnel for order fulfillment when necessary.
• Perform administrative tasks related to sales operations as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or any related field is preferred.
• At least one (1) year of experience in sales, customer service, retail, or cashiering is an advantage.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong customer service orientation and sales skills.
• Knowledge of basic cashiering procedures and POS systems.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Honest, detail-oriented, organized, and trustworthy.
• Able to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
• Willing to work on weekends, holidays, and shifting schedules if required.
