SPED / PARA TEACHER

The SPED Teacher / Parateacher will provide one-on-one support to a child enrolled in an international school in Makati City. The role involves assisting the child academically, socially, and behaviorally while promoting independence and ensuring a positive learning experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized academic and classroom support to the child.
• Assist the child in understanding lessons, completing schoolwork, and participating in classroom activities.
• Implement strategies and accommodations based on the child's developmental and educational needs.
• Support the child's social, emotional, and behavioral development.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, therapists, and parents to ensure consistent support and progress.
• Monitor and document the child's daily performance, behavior, and milestones.
• Encourage independence, self-confidence, and positive social interactions.
• Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and a child-centered approach at all times.
• Ensure the child's safety and well-being throughout school hours.
• Communicate effectively in English with the child, teachers, and school staff.
