Licensed Teacher

Job Summary:

Surge JR Lifestyle Gym is seeking a passionate and dynamic Teacher to lead, educate, and inspire children through our youth fitness and wellness programs. The ideal candidate will create a fun, safe, and educational environment that promotes physical activity, healthy habits, and personal development among young members.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and implement engaging, age-appropriate fitness and wellness activities for children.
• Integrate educational content related to health, fitness, nutrition, and personal well-being.
• Supervise and ensure the safety and well-being of all participants.
• Manage classroom behavior with positive reinforcement techniques.
• Collaborate with gym staff and parents to monitor and support children’s development.
• Maintain accurate attendance and progress records.
• Adhere to all safety, health, and facility guidelines.
• Participate in staff meetings, training, and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications:

• Valid teaching license or certification (elementary education, physical education, or related field).
• Bachelor's degree in Education, Kinesiology, Child Development, or a related field.
• Experience working with children in educational or fitness settings.
• Passion for youth development and promoting healthy lifestyles.
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
• Strong communication and classroom management skills. 
• Energetic, responsible, and adaptable.
• Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience teaching group fitness, dance, yoga, or sports to children.
• Background in wellness education or child psychology.
• Ability to incorporate technology and creative teaching tools.
• Willing to assign in Holy Spirit , Estancia and SM BF branch.
