Chemical Technician

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, BS Major in Chemistry or allied degree (from TESDA recognized / CHED institution)
• Licensed Chemical Technician with a valid PRC license and ICP membership
• 0–2 years of experience in chemical analysis, preferably in food analysis
• No known sensitivities or allergies to soy, gluten, milk, egg, hazardous chemicals, or detergents
• Moderate to high level of analytical and problem-solving skills
• Able to work effectively under high workload and pressure

Functions:

• Performs physico-chemical raw materials, in-process and finished product tests as per documented analytical procedures.
• Provides input in the resolution of technical problem, if any, and conducts laboratory investigation.
• Executes testing bases on approved standard operating procedures and analytical methods and notifies Supervisors for deviations observed and/ or updating needed.
• Ensures compliance to the given approved testing schedule and ensure timely release of laboratory reports.
