BAKESHOP DRIVER

Job Summary

The Bakeshop Driver is responsible for the safe and timely delivery and transportation of baked goods, ingredients, supplies, and other bakeshop products. The role ensures that products are properly handled, delivered in good condition, and supported by accurate delivery documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver baked goods, ingredients, supplies, and other products to assigned locations safely and on time.
• Load and unload products while ensuring proper handling to prevent damage or spoilage.
• Check delivery items against invoices, delivery receipts, or dispatch lists.
• Ensure products are properly secured and maintained in good condition during transport.
• Collect and submit signed delivery receipts and other required documents.
• Conduct daily inspection and basic maintenance checks of the assigned vehicle.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper condition of the vehicle.
• Follow traffic rules, company policies, and road safety regulations at all times.
• Assist with loading, unloading, and other bakeshop-related tasks when needed.
• Report vehicle issues, delivery concerns, or incidents to the immediate supervisor.
• Provide courteous and professional service to customers and receiving personnel.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• At least Senior High School graduate; preferably with education or training related to Logistics, Automotive, Hospitality, or a related field.
• With a valid professional driver's license appropriate for the assigned vehicle.
• With previous experience as a driver, preferably in bakeshop, food service, delivery, logistics, or distribution.
• Familiar with local roads and delivery routes.
• Well-groomed, clean, and presentable.
• Responsible, reliable, and punctual.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Physically fit and able to assist with loading and unloading products.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willing to work flexible hours, weekends, and holidays.
