Delivery Driver

Key Responsibilities

• Safe Operations: Operate vehicles (cars, vans, trucks) to transport goods while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Delivery Logistics: Load, secure, and unload items, ensuring they are delivered to customers on time and in good condition.
• Route Navigation: Use GPS tools and maps to plan efficient routes and manage time effectively to meet schedules.
• Customer Service: Provide a professional demeanor, answer customer questions, and handle complaints courteously.
• Documentation & Payment: Collect payments, obtain signatures, and maintain accurate delivery logs and reports.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Valid Driver’s License: A clean driving record and a valid license (proper class for the vehicle).
• Physical Stamina: Ability to lift, push, and pull packages, often weighing up to 50 lbs, and walk up stairs.
• Time Management: Exceptional punctuality and ability to manage multiple deliveries efficiently.
• Communication: Strong verbal skills for interacting with dispatchers and customers.
• Experience: Previous driving or delivery experience is frequently required.
