Santen Philippines Inc., a global leader in ophthalmic treatment, is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Tax Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will manage and oversee all tax-related activities, ensuring compliance with local regulations while optimizing tax strategies to support the company’s financial goals.

• Tax Compliance: Prepare, review, and file accurate tax returns, including VAT, withholding taxes, income tax, and other local taxes, in compliance with Philippine tax laws and regulations.
• Tax Planning: Develop and implement effective tax strategies to minimize tax liabilities and optimize the company’s financial performance.
• Audits: Coordinate and manage tax audits, responding to inquiries and providing necessary documentation to tax authorities.
• Financial Reporting: Ensure accurate tax-related entries in financial statements, including deferred taxes and tax provisions.
• Regulatory Updates: Monitor changes in tax laws and regulations, assess their impact on the company, and implement necessary adjustments.
• Advisory Role: Provide tax advice and support to internal stakeholders, including management and other departments.

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A CPA (Certified Public Accountant) license is required.
• Experience: At least 5 years of experience in tax accounting or a related role, preferably in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
• Tax Expertise: In-depth knowledge of Philippine tax laws, regulations, and filing requirements.
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex tax regulations and financial data.
• Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in preparing and reviewing tax documents.
• Software Proficiency: Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. Experience with ERP systems is a plus.
