Medical Technologist

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Medical Technologist with strong customer service skills to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise in laboratory procedures with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, healthcare providers, and internal teams.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Reports to work on time.
• Familiarity with a list of services provided and turn-around times.
• Familiarity with the guidelines on the collection, handling, and storage of specimens used in the section.
• Wears appropriate PPE in the work area.
• Performs basic quality control measures (ex. Blood samples checking of presence of hemolysis, clot before sending to Main Laboratory)
• Collection/Receiving of the specimen.
• Logging of the sample in the appropriate Logbook
• Specimen preparation and processing.
• Recording and filing records.
• Performs tasks with minimum supervision.
• Maintains orderliness and cleanliness in the working areas.
• Attending regular staff meetings.
• Willing to be assigned to Detoxicare sites, Projects and Swabbing whenever deemed necessary.

Qualifications

• Registered Medical Technologist
• Proven experience in a clinical laboratory setting.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Experience in a client-facing or customer service role.
