We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Associate to join our team. In this role, you will assist in driving growth and expanding market presence by identifying new business opportunities, managing client relationships, and supporting the implementation of business development strategies. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sales, excellent communication skills, and a strong understanding of market trends in the Philippines.
Key Responsibilities
Market Research & Analysis
- Conduct market research to identify trends, potential clients, and competitor strategies in the Philippine market.
- Gather and analyze industry data to support business decisions and create business plans.
Lead Generation & Client Acquisition
- Generate new business leads through cold calling, networking, and leveraging social media platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, etc.).
- Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified prospects in various industries.
- Schedule and conduct meetings with prospective clients to understand their needs and offer solutions.
Client Relationship Management
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
- Provide exceptional customer service by understanding client needs and addressing concerns promptly.
- Assist in preparing proposals, presentations, and contracts for new business.
Sales & Business Strategy Support
- Assist in the development and execution of business development strategies.
- Work closely with the sales team to meet monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Support the preparation of business development reports and sales forecasts.
Collaboration & Communication
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional materials and campaigns that support business development initiatives.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams to ensure client needs are met and projects are delivered on time.
Requirements
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
- Relevant certifications or courses in sales or business development is a plus.
Experience:
- At least 1-2 years of experience in sales, business development, or a related field. Fresh graduates with strong internships or related experience are also welcome to apply.
- Experience in the Philippine market is preferred.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong communication (oral and written) and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Good problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, Zoho) is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Fluency in English and Filipino (both written and spoken).
