A Company Driver is responsible for safely transporting goods, materials, or personnel to designated locations while maintaining vehicles and adhering to traffic laws.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Operate company vehicles, including cars, vans, trucks, or buses, to transport goods, materials, or staff to various locations safely and efficiently.
• Plan routes and schedules to optimize travel time, considering traffic conditions and delivery requirements.
• Load, unload, and secure cargo or passengers, following proper handling and safety procedures.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicles are roadworthy and compliant with safety standards.
• Perform routine vehicle maintenance, such as checking fluid levels, tire pressure, brakes, and arranging repairs when necessary.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of company vehicles, both inside and outside.
• Keep accurate travel logs, including work hours, mileage, and locations visited.
• Interact professionally with clients, staff, and supervisors, representing the company positively.
• Adjust travel routes to avoid traffic congestion or road construction and promptly report any accidents, tickets, or vehicle issues.
• Work involves both on-road driving and office-related tasks.
• Reports to a designated company authority.
• May require working nights, weekends, or flexible hours depending on company needs.
