Car Tinter Installer

Responsibilities

1. Install automotive window tint according to approved specifications, ensuring proper alignment,
2. adhesion, and clean finishing without bubbles, wrinkles, or visible defects.
3. Prepare vehicle windows and surfaces by thoroughly cleaning and removing dust, dirt, grease,residue, and other contaminants before installation.
4. Install Paint Protection Film (PPF) on designated vehicle surfaces such as hoods, bumpers, fenders mirrors, door edges, pillars, and other applicable areas.
5. Measure, cut, stretch, apply, and trim tint film and PPF accurately according to vehicle dimensions,curves, and body contours
6. Perform proper heat shrinking and edge finishing for window tint and PPF to achieve smooth,secure, and professional results.
7. Inspect completed installations for bubbles, wrinkdes, lifting edges, scratches, misalignment,contamination, and other imperfections, and perfomm necessary corrections or rework
8. Properly protect customer vehicles during installation, including interior surfaces, seats, dashboard,body panels, and other areas that may be exposed to tools, water, or chemicals Maintain and properly use tinting and PPF tools and equipment, including heat guns, squeegees,cutting tools, spray solutions, plotters, and other related equipment

9. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the tinting/PPF work area and properly store films, tools, chemicals, and installation materials.

10. Monitor and report inventory and usage of tint films, PPF materials, solutions, tools, and other consumables

11. Coordinate with PDI/Service and concerned personnel regarding vehicle schedules, work orders, installation requirements, and unit release schedules

12. Follow manufacturer-recommended installation procedures and workplace safety standards when handling films, chemicals, tools, and equipmer

13. Perform other related duties and responsibilities as may be assigned by management from time time in support of dealership operations.

Job Requirements:

• At least 10 year of experience in car tinting, PPF installation, automotive detailing, or a related field.
• Strong attention to detail and good hand skills.
• Knowledge of different automotive tint and PPF materials.
• Able to work carefully and efficiently with minimal supervision.
• Physically fit and comfortable performing hands-on automotive work.
• Responsible, reliable, hardworking, and willing to learn.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
• Automotive technical training or certification is an advantage.
• Valid driver's license is a plus.
