Position: Procurement and Supply Chain Manager

Primary Objective:

• Coordination of the organization's end-to-end supply chain, including finished goods, domestic and imported raw materials, packaging, procurement, planning, warehousing, transport, and distribution, while overseeing the efficient execution of operational processes across all aspects

Tasks required:

• Reporting to the COO, this role will involve working closely with the Warehouse Manager, 3PL Managers, Accounts, Sales and Marketing teams, as well as key external suppliers.
• Manage the procurement of all raw materials and packaging and negotiate contracts with key suppliers across all supply chain functions.
• Manage the planning function with the sales, marketing, and finance teams to ensure high levels of customer service while optimizing inventory through accurate forecasting.
• Identify opportunities for improvement across the operations department to simplify processes for successful stock movement and inventory management.
• Compare actual versus budgeted cost performance, providing clear explanations for any overspend.
• Management of all inbound and outbound transport requirements for finished goods, domestic and imported raw materials, and packaging to designated warehouses.
• Management of all retail chain orders, including DSD (Direct Store Delivery) and DC (Distribution Center) deliveries, for all retail customers.
• Develop and maintain agreed standardized KPIs covering inventory management, DIFOT (Delivery In Full, On Time), customer service, efficiency, and productivity in the warehouse(s) and transport operations.
• Implement and manage the procurement function within the organization to ensure best practice procurement and reduce supplier expenditure over time.
• Benchmark, identify internal best practices and the reasons for them; if appropriate, introduce these practices across the warehouse and transport network. Compare identified internal best practices to external benchmarks with a view to further improvement.
• Develop S&OP (Sales and Operations Planning) within the business, driving accurate demand and supply forecasting.
• Maintain a high level of security to protect company assets, including monitoring the level of stock and other asset losses, ensuring inventory accuracy by comparing physical stock to book stock, and maintaining an appropriate asset register against which capital items are counted and checked off.
• Perform other ad hoc tasks as assigned.

• Review incoming orders for accuracy and completeness.
• Verify product availability and pricing.
• Coordinate with the shipping department to ensure timely order fulfillment.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all orders.
• Respond to customer inquiries and resolve order-related issues.
• Provide accurate information on order status and shipping timelines.

Assist in managing the stocks/items coming in and out of the company, keep accurate counts of stored items in the warehouse, racking and other allocated storage room

Main Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the external side “(Supplier market) of the design or by the design “and Make or Buy” files making the right decision and leading the execution if decision is buy
• Guide components and Sub assy selection with the purchasing approach, analysis and challenge the needs
• Aligns Project Sourcing targets with current Global Purchasing Strategy focusing on
• standardization, reduction of diversity and recommended supplier concentration and long-term continuity
• Pushes co-development with suppliers and early supplier involvement and provides market view to the project. Monitors and ensures competitive material cost to meet product Target cost
• Support Innovation from Supplier Side and Process innovation
• Negotiate all Purchasing Contracts for all new OCP Projects, setup contracts with legal department for strategic parts and components
• Under the leadership of Project Manager, update Project Deliverables including selected PMP purchasing deliverables and ERP’s
• Supports samples and tools procurement and places timely orders
• Challenge the supplier Orientation Chart of the commodities through their commodity reps if necessary

Responsible for the evaluation of cost proposal of prospective suppliers and subcontractors for all ongoing and proposed project taking.

The Purchasing Manager shall be responsible for sourcing equipment, goods, and services and managing vendors and be able to perform strategic procurement activities across multiple categories of spend, search for better deals, and find more profitable suppliers.

The Accounting Manager ensures timely recording, tracking, analyzing, and reporting of all financial information to Management.

• Manages and oversees the daily operations of the Accounting Department.
• Creates efficient and effective methods for tracking financial data.
• Oversees effective and timely posting of transactions in the financial system on their corresponding chart of accounts and balance sheets to produce the needed financial reports needed for business and regulatory requirements.
• Conducts financial audits for the purpose of verifying the accuracy and reliability of the financial data and carried out through the examination of financial transactions.
• Assist business in analyzing variance and variations from stated strategies at business and segment

The Inventory & Spare Parts Controller Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the management, control, and distribution of spare parts inventory for SMEG products. This role supervises a team of inventory controllers, ensuring efficient inventory processes, accurate stock management, and timely availability of spare parts to meet service and customer demands. The Supervisor will also work closely with internal teams, suppliers, and external partners to optimize inventory turnover, reduce excess stock, and improve service delivery.

• Supervise and guide a team of Inventory & Spare Parts Controllers, ensuring effective performance and adherence to company policies and procedures.
• Coordinate daily activities of the inventory team, ensuring optimal workload distribution.
• Ensure accurate record-keeping of parts and inventory in the system, conducting regular stock counts and reconciliations.
• Collaborate with procurement and logistics teams to ensure that spare parts are ordered and delivered according to forecasted demand.
• Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as inventory turnover, order fulfillment, stock levels, and supplier performance.
• Work closely with the service, sales, and technical teams to ensure that spare parts are readily available for customer repairs and maintenance.

• Utilize inventory management software to track inventory levels, orders, and shipments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to inventory systems and processes.
• Stay updated on new inventory management technologies and recommend upgrades or changes as needed.
