Description
  • Pest Control Technical Specialist help customers resolve their pest infestation problems. They identify the type of pest that is infesting homes, buildings, offices, and other structures and use either pesticides or manual solutions to get rid of them.
  • He/she reports directly to the Operations Department Supervisor, Assistant Supervisor and Quality Assurance Supervisor.
  • Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Determines the kind of most effective treatment required to eliminate or control a particular type of pest, long-term.
  • Advises customers on the kind of treatment required to eliminate or control identified pests.
  • Inspects customers’ premises to identify pest problems.
  • Fills out all necessary paperwork upon completion of each job.
  • Accomplishes and submits on-time daily, weekly and monthly chemical consumption form and inventory.
  • Applying suitable pesticides to infested areas by following the label instructions and complying with safety procedures.
  • Responding to customers’ requests for various pest control services.
  • Identifying opportunities to sell additional company services.
  • Identifying the right amount of chemical solution and volume according to the size of the infested areas.
  • Technical specialists must always wear complete company uniform and proper PPE, especially during on-duty.
  • Knowledgeable of the technical aspects of the pest control industry, behavior and function of typical household pests and proper identification.
  • This role requires a driver's license.

JOB SUMMARY: 

  • The Field Technician plays a crucial role in efficiently and effectively fulfilling and managing clients’ service requests, specifically from asset receiving and safekeeping through preparation, testing, deployment, post-deployment, and reporting, including asset care and management.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

Inventory Management

  • Receive and safekeep POS terminals, accessories, and peripherals at all times until the scheduled deployment
  • Keep track and hold full responsibility and accountability over all received company assets in view of the field service assignment.


Terminal Preparation

  • Check application installed, ensure accuracy and completeness of all the necessary downloaded profiles/data in the POS Terminal prior to installation.


Deployment and Servicing

  • Deploy new terminals and/or peripherals or replace previous installations, provide on-site checking, reprogramming or deprogramming and other services in accordance with customer’s specifications and requirements, including agreed service turnaround time or completion.


Testing and Calibration

  • Test and calibrate installed equipment to ensure proper functionality and performance.


Merchant Training

  • Provide training to merchants to ensure that all merchant’s cashiers understand the functionality, basic care and security of the deployed terminals.


Troubleshooting

  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues and malfunctions efficiently


On-Site Support

  • Provide on-site technical support and assistance to customers, addressing their concerns and resolving issues promptly.


Communication

  • Maintain clear and professional communication with customers, keeping them informed about the status of every deployment or post-deployment service done.


Service Reports

  • Accomplish in full the required details in the field service and other related reports for every field service done.
