Description

We are looking for a talented AutoCAD Programmer with at least 5 years of writing third-party applications for but not limited to AutoCAD, Windows desktop apps and scripts. 

The key focus of the role will be to write codes, develop, and improve Cracknell’s CAD production process. 

 

Primary Activities 

  • Effectively configure, analyse, investigate, and resolve system issues. 
  • Review and provide input on study budgets and monitor the scope of work to actual work, alerting management of potential change orders. 
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure compliance with development standards and system/business requirements. 
  • Analyse configuration options to design the optimal configuration to ensure quality. 
  • Capable of debugging, scripting, and data manipulation. 
  • Develop and test software applications in AutoCAD programming environment with .NET programming interfaces. 
  • Ensure program documentation, operations documentation and user guides are maintained in accordance with standards. 
  • Coordinate software system installation and monitor equipment functioning to ensure specifications are met with latest AutoCAD release every two years. 
  • Write programs and modify existing ones for increased efficiency. 
  • Debug and resolve issues with AutoCAD installations. 
  • Work with product development team, drafting, engineering, and business analysts to obtain necessary information and to ensure that the deliverable meets business requirements. 
  • Check completed programs by running simulations. 
  • Be able to communicate and understand technical material from engineers, programmers, designers, drafters. 

 

Technical Competencies 

  • Proficient in a C# and Auto Lisp/DCL/Visual Lisp. Dynamo and Python knowledge is a plus. 
  • Knowledgeable with Recursive programming and refactoring existing codes. 
  • Experience in using CAD software and datasets. 
  • Good understanding of Autodesk Construction Cloud and access to the file management through the ACC API. 
  • Good understanding of AutoCAD menu system and security measures to prevent software theft.

● Turn raw/stock footage into videos that are on brand, captivate audiences, and transform them into something complex, elegant, and impactful.

● Create high-quality motion graphics, animations, and effects in Adobe After Effects. Proficiency in rotoscoping, tracking, masking, and overlays is necessary.

● Edit large amounts of footage into short videos (1-4 minutes on average) that clients can use for their sales, marketing, human resources, and corporate communications.

● Efficiently execute motion graphics design requests based on each client’s requirements, ensuring tasks stay within scope and on schedule.

● Work with Team Leads to realize the full potential of each video project.

● Be available to work full-time during your shift, responding promptly to communications from team members.

● Select and edit music/audio to complement video visuals.

● Creating custom animated text and titles based on video briefing.

● Meet strict deadlines and demands of the client media cycle while also reacting and adapting to shifting workloads.

● Be primarily responsible for video post-production.

● Work with Storyboard leadership to develop and champion promotional content for events, products, and clients.
