The Heavy Equipment Operator is primarily responsible for the operations and upkeep of heavy equipment used to mount/dismount/stage container vans and/or cargoes.

Key Result Areas/ Duties & Responsibilities: 

HEAVY EQUIPMENT OPERATIONS 

1. Receives instructions/PAYA from checker or Operations Manager on which containers to lift, move or transfer and where to place them.
2. Operates safely Heavy Equipment to lift, move transfer, mount, dismount and stage all loaded or empty container vans within CY terminal and/or Port Area in an orderly manner.
3. Stacks container vans properly. 
4. Follows Equipment Productivity Plan.

EQUIPMENT MAINTENANCE AND UPKEEP 

1. Inspects equipment condition based on checklist prior to start of shift.
2. Cleans assigned heavy equipment regularly.
3. Informs Operations Manager on any equipment for repair.

ACCIDENT/INCIDENT REPORT

1. Informs Operations Manager and guard on duty of any accident/incident.
2. Gives details about the accidents/incident to the guard-on-duty and/or operations manager.
3. Signs the Incident and Damage Report that was prepared by the Guard-on-duty or operations manager.

• Responsible for ensuring that the assigned forklift, spare batteries and its charger are always checked and monitored
• Accountable and liable in monitoring/checking of warehouse zoning plan for FG/PM
• Responsible in staging FG/PM for delivery, transfer, issuance and storing
• Responsible in moving the items with proper handling procedures to ensure that items will not damage during transfer
• Actively communicate with supervisors and dispatchers to effectively handle FG/PM and notify them of possible problems
• See to it that proper stacking/piling of FG/PM is according to warehousing standards
• Apply forklift safety handling procedures at all times

The Forklift Operator is responsible for operating a forklift to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. The Operator is accountable for the safe and efficient operation of the vehicle and may also be required to perform Order Filler and Checker duties.

Receiving/Put-Away: 

• Unload inbound shipments safely and move product to storage locations.
• Efficiently stack and store the merchandise in the appropriate areas.

Quality: 

• Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage. Report quality variances.

Order Picking: 

• Pull and prepare product for shipment, ensuring that the exact number and type of product is loaded and shipped.
• Perform picking duties in an efficient manner that meets customer service standards.

Loading: 

• Efficiently move product from staging and/or storage areas into rail cars or trailers.

Equipment: 

• Load, unload, move, stack, and stage product and materials using a forklift, clamp truck, or other power equipment.
• Use radio frequency equipment for picking, receiving, put away, and load functions, as required.
• Maintain the facility’s equipment and materials in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion.
• On a daily basis, inspect and perform minor maintenance on the forklift or other equipment.
• Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient manner following prescribed work methods.

Safety, Sanitation, Security: 

• Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area.
• Assist in maintaining the Security of the warehouse.
• Conduct operations in a manner that promotes safety

Operates forklift to load and unload materials, finished goods and transports it to specified location or vehicles.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Transportation of finished goods from production area to storage location to delivery trucks.

• Maintain cleanliness and good working condition of forklifts.

• Ensures the empty pallets/finished goods are stored properly in the warehouse.

• Performs other job-related tasks that may be assigned by the Warehouse and Distribution Department Head.

• Will operate machine.
• Can read and interpret basic Mechanical Drawings.
• With work experience in Manufacturing setting.

• Create and design 2D and 3D models using CAD software.
• Develop product designs and technical drawings according to client specifications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet quality and safety standards.
• Modify and revise designs based on feedback and project requirements.
• Maintain a library of design files and documentation.

Responsible for operating industrial sewing machines to stitch together fabrics and other materials to create finished products. They also inspect and repair garments, prepare materials, and adjust machines to ensure proper functioning.

• Monitoring and maintaining warehouse equipment and machinery.
• Setting up manufacturing equipment.
• Using machine equipment to complete tasks.
• Performing routine inspections of manufacturing equipment

• Conducts activities related to machine operations using the OPTICAL PROFILE GRINDER MACHINE to produce products involving various grinding operations. This also includes the fabrication of precision and/or semi-precision tooling such as punch and dies, die set parts, mold parts, etc.

• Operate trucks safely, following all traffic laws and adhering to company policies and procedures.
• Load and unload goods, ensuring that items are properly secured during transit.
• Plan and follow the best routes, taking into account traffic and weather conditions to ensure timely delivery of goods.
• Conduct regular vehicle inspections to maintain its safe operation, identifying and reporting any mechanical or electrical issues that require attention.

1.  Marketing Room Custodian

• Receive deliveries
• Prepare monthly allocation and ad hoc requirements
• Prepare and arrange dispatch/issuance of materials
• Conduct regular inventory count of materials
• Organize Marketing Room
• Work with Ailine to keep track of all inventory movement

2.  Custodian of Equipment purchased by Marketing (fixed assets used by technical & sales team)

• Receive deliveries
• Prepare, secure approval for required documentation (gate pass) and track issuance (inventory card)
• Monitor return of equipment
• Conduct inventory count of materials
• Organize warehouse space assigned for these equipment
• Work with Ailine to keep track of all equipment

3.  Warehouse & Logistics Staff

• Picking of product for delivery
• Warehouse housekeeping
• Other tasks that may be assigned from time to time related to warehouse & logistics

• Promote and sell forklifts to customers
• Build and maintain relationships with clients
• Conduct market research to understand customer needs
• Provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales process
• Negotiate prices and terms of sale
• Attend training sessions to stay updated on products
• Achieve sales targets and report performance metrics

• Receives job order and analyzes cause of trouble and breakdown.
• Checks the repair to be undertaken and fixes trouble.
• Assembles parts needed before installation and repair.
• Inspects all repair accomplished to ensure the job undertaken as well as the quality of work.

Responsible for troubleshooting forklift problems to include brake, electrical and hydraulic systems, detect imperfections, potential problems, safety issues and/or malfunctions.

• Perform routine, emergency and preventative maintenance of MHE (Material Handling Equipment)
• Interpret manufacturer's technical manuals to perform the necessary maintenance and repairs needed.
• Troubleshoot MHE problems to include brake, electrical and hydraulic systems, detect imperfections, potential problems, safety issues and/or malfunctions.
• Replace broken or defective parts from stock parts and/or order replacement parts for major repairs.
• Reassemble MHE and make all necessary adjustments for effective and safe operation.
• Perform safety inspection of MHE prior to being released back to the work floor.
• Maintain an organized, neat and safe work area.
• Ensure that safety standards are maintained in the course of performing duties
• Assist in supervising the activities of MHE suppliers.
• Assist in the preparation of material request for all MHE.
• Keep proper record of work activities, including all procurement and maintenance costs.
• Submit reports on work activities and progress of work to the Department Head.
• Perform other task that may be assigned from time to time.
