Duties and Responsibilities:

• Examines and monitors building codes, by-laws, space and site requirements, and other technical documents and reports to ensure that the project compliance and regulations are met

• Responsible for preparation of cost estimates for the preparation of price proposals for bids and variation orders.
• Provide technical guidance on assigned projects and plans, schedules, conducts and coordinates assigned engineering works and ensure compliance of applicable regulations, accepted technical / engineering practices and procedures are followed / applied in the preparation of project plans and proposals.
• Perform personnel functions by supervising and inspecting the performance of contractors and cadet engineers to ensure that all procedures are completed to the company set standards and client standards and ensure that work progress according to schedule.
• Work closely with the Project Manager / General Manager to schedule work and set priorities and act as the backup for calls when there are emergencies.
• Coordinate with the Contractor & Supplier for the purchase and delivery of required materials for the completion of a specified project and ensure that supply of material required are maintained to avoid disruption of work.

What you'll be doing:

• Inspects FPIP and Subsidiaries' construction project
• Ensures conformity of work requirements / technical specifications
• Evaluate change orders and request for time extension and claim of contractors
• Facilitate the conduct of tests needed for the completion of the projects (i.e. FDT, concrete mix, road alignments, etc.)
• Coordinates and conducts meetings with contractors
• Acts as Project In-Charge for assigned task
• Provide in-house estimates to other department’s request
• Dedicates time and effort to ESH activities of the project
• Provides support and conforms to IMS standards and procedures
• Provides support to the Company’s overall program

1. Read plans and prepare quote (not required but better if familiar with auto cad)
2. Mobile - can drive or ride a motor to travel to project locations to do ocular and installation inspection
3. Ocular - do measurements and recommend products and preparation required for installation, able to communicate and liase with clients, process documentation when needed.
4. During installation - coordinate with sub contractors and lead directions on installation, check for potential punch listing and ensure quality of works done before turnover to client for signing of coc.
