• Patient Communication: Manage inbound and outbound calls, emails, and messages related to patient scheduling, appointment reminders, and follow-ups.
• Medical Records Management: Assist in the organization, updating, and secure handling of electronic health records (EHR).
• Administrative Tasks: Handle data entry, maintain appointment calendars, and coordinate patient care between different providers.
• Clinical Support: Provide assistance in preparing patient charts, collecting and summarizing patient information for physicians, and ability to do proper patient assessment and triage.
• Billing and Insurance: Support billing processes, insurance verification, and processing claims, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
• Research and Reporting: Conduct research on medical topics as needed and compile reports for healthcare professionals.

• Research medical topics, trends, and terminology to gather information for content creation.
• Write and edit engaging and informative copy for various mediums, including print and digital media.
• Develop content for blogs, articles, press releases, advertisements, website copy, and other marketing materials.
• Proofread, revise, and update content to ensure accuracy and adherence to brand guidelines.
• Generate creative ideas for content development that align with the organization's goals and target audience.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, design, and medical professionals, to ensure content accuracy and effectiveness.
• Stay updated with medical research and industry advancements to incorporate relevant and current information into the content.

• Visits assigned sales channels regularly (hospital and independent pharmacies and others) and tracks sales orders and stock inventories
• Visits assigned health institutions and health care professionals regularly, critical to the generation of prescriptions and conversion of sales opportunities
• Analyses / monitors regularly the sales potential and possible development of the assigned area.

• Ensures that all doctor’s orders are being implemented with 100% compliance with the treatment protocols / SOPs
• To resolve all uncompleted orders and all existing patient concerns
• Primary Medical Representative’s responsibility includes; educating and offering general support to patients and their family members about the diagnostic and treatment services offered at the NeuroCognitive Institute.
• Medical record responsibilities include processing, requesting, faxing, mailing, printing and archiving all medical records.

• Assigns diagnosis codes according to the Official ICD-10-CM Guidelines for Coding and Reports for conditions which map to the Center for Medicare & Medicaid Services’ Hierarchical Condition Categories (CMS-HCC) applicable for the year(s) of service being reviewed.
• Conducts thorough review of charts by effectively using computer-assisted coding tools to review and interpret medical records and applies in-depth knowledge of coding principles to assign valid diagnosis codes which are supported by evidence in the medical record on the same date of service. 
• Demonstrates knowledge of what constitutes a medical record acceptable for supporting CMS-HCCs, including signature guidelines, member identifiers, provider types, medical record encounter/visit types, and places of service.
• Demonstrates advanced knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy and physiology as they pertain to assigning appropriate codes and identifying pertinent supporting information in the medical record.
• Manages individual quality of work & productivity toward meeting or exceeding targets.
• Consults Team Lead/Operations Manager and/or Coding SME timely and appropriately.

• Review and analyze patients' medical records to assign accurate coding for diagnosis and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality of patient information.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to clarify ambiguous documentation.
• Stay updated with coding guidelines, practices, and reimbursement policies.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives in a fast-paced BPO environment.

• Assure timely submission of invoices/claims utilization report.
• Validate documents received as well as members' information to adjudicate the Claims based on the submitted information.
• Apply the Plan policy and its exclusion as well as underwriting guidelines to determine coverage for claims.
• Deny claims according to SOB, exclusions and policies.
• Assure timely payment of invoices from providers and ensure all information and documents needed are accurate and complete.
• Keep management aware of members' issues from providers to enhance operations and escalate to the higher-ups when necessary.
• Coordinate with providers all Claims unpaid and do reconciliation.
• Answer inquiries and handle complaints from providers.
