Job Description

Position Title: Warehouse Supervisor

Location: Sta. Mesa, Quezon City

Setup: Full-time | Day Shift


Job Summary

Perform multi-tasking that include receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, or supervising, organizing and retrieving stock in the warehouse.

 

Essential duties and responsibilities

A. Supervise General Warehouse Activities

  • Verify items are in good condition according to delivery receipts
  • Inspect loading operations to make sure they follow warehouse and shipping specifications and to ensure proper use of warehouse space.
  • Reads delivery notices, orders, invoices, and other documents to manage priorities and ensure that the correct warehousemethods are used and ensure records are accurately stored in the database.
  • Inventory Management - input, retrieve and analyze data; maintains inventory controls by collecting stock location orders, printing request, recording amounts of materials or items received or distributed through a computer; conduct regular inventory reconciliation to ensure adequate supplies to meet the company’s operations goals; report to management on damaged goods and any discrepancies with inventory; assist in counting of physical inventory
  • Maintenance of equipment: maintain all work equipment in an efficient state/ order and in good repair. Machinery maintenance log needs to be kept up to date and maintenance operations need to be carried out safely. Regularly conduct/plan routine maintenance to prevent future problems, and corrective maintenance when equipment goes wrong and needs to be fixed.

 

B. Supervise Warehouse Staff

  • Oversees and supervises warehouse employees to make sure all items are prepared and received on time while complying with company policy.
  • Maintain Warehouse Safety and Cleanliness and enforce safety regulations.
  • Train and orientation of new staff.
  • Adhered to Company’s Core Values: Integrity, Service, Teamwork, Innovation, Diversity, and Safety

 

Education and Qualifications:

  • Bachelors in Logistics/Supply Chain Management Programs/Business Administration
  • Minimum of 2 years of previous warehouse experience as a Warehouse Supervisor preferably from LPG/lubrications industry

 

Skills

  • Communication skills – clearly communicate and give directions in a clear and organized manner
  • Multitasking – handle multiple operations at one time by prioritizing and execution of tasks accurately in this fast-paced environment
  • Problem-solving skills –come up with innovative solutions to address any difficulties
  • Technical warehousing knowledge –have strong technical knowledge of the machines and equipment used in warehouse, shipping, as well as a technical understanding of logistics procedures
  • Leadership –supervise and lead the warehouse staff, make decisions with minimal oversight from management
  • Computer competency –working knowledge of warehouse software and MS Office
  • Time Management – up-to-date inventory, able to locate items and documents easily, having a tidy warehouse environment. Make plans and goals clear to staff, delegate important, relevant tasks that align with department goals.

 

Working conditions

  • Willing and able to work every Monday to Saturday, 9:00 am – 6:00 pm, in Sta. Mesa, Quezon City.
  • May work outdoors from time to time and work with challenging clients.
