The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and managing daily warehouse operations within a pharmaceutical manufacturing company. This role ensures the accurate receipt, storage, and dispatch of raw materials and finished products, adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and company policies to maintain product integrity, safety, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervision and Management:

• Oversee and coordinate the activities of warehouse staff, including training, scheduling, and performance management.
• Ensure all warehouse operations are conducted safely and efficiently.

Inventory Control:

• Maintain accurate inventory records and manage stock levels using warehouse management systems.
• Conduct regular inventory audits and cycle counts to ensure stock accuracy.

Compliance and Safety:

• Ensure all warehouse operations comply with GMP, safety standards, and company regulations.
• Implement and monitor warehouse procedures to meet quality assurance standards.

Receiving and Shipping:

• Supervise the receipt, inspection, and proper storage of incoming raw materials.
• Oversee the picking, packing, and dispatching of finished products to meet delivery schedules.

Process Improvement:

• Identify and implement best practices to enhance warehouse efficiency and productivity.
• Develop and revise standard operating procedures (SOPs) as needed.

Coordination:

• Collaborate with other departments, such as production and quality assurance, to coordinate timely material availability.
• Communicate effectively with suppliers and logistics partners to streamline shipping and receiving processes.

• Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field preferred; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
• Work Experience:
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in warehouse supervision, preferably in a pharmaceutical or GMP-regulated environment.
• Skills:
• Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory software. Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Certification in forklift operation and warehouse safety is a plus.
