Job Description
Description
- Inventory: Oversee inventory levels, monitor stock, and ensure accurate records
- Shipping: Coordinate shipments, track and trace packages, and ensure timely delivery
- Storage: Plan and organize the storage of goods, and ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Communication: Respond to customer and supplier queries, and resolve issues with deliveries
- Transportation: Plan efficient routes to ensure smooth delivery, and monitor the timelines of shipments
- Documentation: Document invoices and payment postings, and prepare shipping documents
- Hazardous waste: Oversee hazardous waste storage, documentation, equipment, and procedures
- Logistics strategies: Assist in the development of strategies to improve cost efficiency and customer satisfaction
- Software: Use a transport management system (TMS) to plan, execute, and optimize the movement of goods
