The client is a parent company of multiple fishing and outdoor brands, and is dedicated to providing high-quality products within the fishing and outdoor industries, while continually innovating. 

As a rapidly expanding company, they are seeking a skilled Visual Designer to join their dynamic and supportive marketing team, contributing to the brand’s presence across all platforms. 

This is a full-time opportunity to work with industry-leading brands in a fast-growing company headquartered in Florida, United States. The role will align with Sydney's timezone, as the Marketing Director is based on the east coast of Australia.

Job Description

• Design visually engaging digital and print marketing assets such as catalogues, flyers, social media content, website graphics, email campaigns, etc.

• Edit and produce short and long-form video content for various channels, including social media, websites and promotional materials.

• Design HTML email templates for customer campaigns.

• Work with the Marketing Director to design and develop creative and unique product packaging across each of our brands.

• Maintain brand consistency and uphold strict brand guidelines across all materials and channels.

• Collaborate closely with the Marketing Director to ensure design and video work aligns with brand, project and product goals.

• Effectively handle multiple projects with varying deadlines by utilising project management tools.

• Maintain design and media files systematically, as required, for easy access and future use.

• Stay up to date with industry trends and implement new design techniques to keep the client's visuals modern and fresh.

• Adapt to shifting project needs and contribute creative solutions to new design challenges.

• Other tasks to aid general marketing and sales, as requested by the Marketing Director.

Must Haves

• Formal qualifications in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Video Editing/Production or related field.

• 3+ years of professional graphic design and video editing experience (experience in the outdoor or fishing industry is beneficial but not essential).

• A strong portfolio showcasing diverse design and video projects across digital and print mediums.

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, After Effects Etc.).

• Proficiency in HTML and CSS for email design, with knowledge of responsive design and email client compatibility.

• Strong understanding of typography, color theory, layout design and video storytelling.

• Highly detail-oriented, upholding precision in all design and video work.

• Ability to take creative direction and work independently with minimal supervision.

• Excellent communication and time management skills, with the ability to collaborate

effectively with remote teams.

• A willingness to learn.

Nice to Haves

• Experience in Oracle's Netsuite / Suitecommerce is beneficial but not required. 

• Experience in utilising project management software such as Monday, Trello, Asana Etc is beneficial but not required.

Home Office Requirements
