Description

  • Transport Goods: Safely operate trucks to deliver goods from the commissary to various locations.
  • Loading and Unloading: Assist in loading and unloading products, ensuring the accuracy of items transported.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate trip tickets, delivery logs, and fuel records. Submit all documentation as required.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct routine inspections of the truck before and after trips, including monitoring odometer readings, and checking fluid levels, tire pressure, and overall vehicle condition. Report any issues to the immediate superior.
  • Fuel Management: Adhere to company policies on gasoline usage. Refuel vehicles at designated fuel stations and record fuel usage as instructed.
  • RFID Systems: Utilize RFID systems for loading and tracking deliveries where applicable.


Work Conditions:


  • Primarily outdoor work, involving driving and loading/unloading goods.
  • It may require early mornings, late evenings, weekends, or holiday shifts.



Requirements

  • Valid driver’s license
  • Minimum of 2 years of truck driving experience, preferably in a commissary or similar operation.
  • Knowledge of local routes and traffic laws.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy items as needed.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
  • Basic understanding of vehicle maintenance and safety checks.
  • Familiarity with RFID systems is a plus.
