Prepare and file federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals and businesses
Assist in the preparation of tax provisions and support the financial reporting process
Research and stay current on tax laws and regulations, ensuring compliance with changes
Assist in tax planning and identify opportunities for tax savings
Support the tax team during audits, providing necessary documentation and information
Maintain accurate and organized tax records and documentation
Respond to tax-related inquiries from internal departments and external stakeholders
Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
CPA or Enrolled Agent (EA) designation is a plus
Experience in tax preparation, preferably in a public accounting or corporate tax environment
Strong knowledge of tax laws, regulations, and compliance requirements
Proficiency in tax software and MS Office, particularly Excel
Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
