1. Gives direct nursing care. Identifies nursing needs of patients. Plans, gives and evaluates nursing care and admits patient.

2. Performs such nursing activities such as bathing and oral hygiene.

3. Assist patient in moving, maintaining proper alignment of patient’s body and utilizing good body mechanics.

4. Takes and records vital sign. Observes medical sepsis.

5. Observes signs and symptoms, institutes remedial action when appropriate and records these in her chart

6. Reports observation to the physician. Observes and responds to patients’ emotional spiritual needs. Acts as liaison between patient and hospital personnel.

7. Interprets to the patient and his family their roles in promoting successful therapy and rehabilitation.

8. Prepares patients for, and assist physicians with, diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.

9. Carries out doctor’s legal orders. Assist Physicians when examining the patients.

10. Performs irrigations, catheterizations and gives enemas

11. Administers and charts medications and patients’ reaction to medications.

12. Instructs patients and families. See to it that equipment receives proper care and maintenance. Discharge patients. Performs post-motem care.

13. Teaches and directs nonprofessional nursing personnel. Acts as a charge nurse / medication nurse when so delegated. Receives and endorse ward equipment and supplies

14. Interprets hospital policies and procedure. Gives health teachings. Maintains good relationships with other hospital personnel.

15. Charts accurately medications and treatments given. Attends meetings and conferences.

• Graduate of BS in Nursing
• MUST have an active PRC License
• With or without experience
