Description

The Sound Engineer is responsible for the recording, mixing, and production of audio for various media, including music, film, television, and live events. This role involves working with sound equipment, collaborating with artists and producers, and ensuring high-quality audio output.


  • Recording Audio: Set up and operate recording equipment to capture sound for music, dialogue, and sound effects.
  • Mixing and Editing: Use digital audio workstations (DAWs) to mix and edit recordings, ensuring clarity and balance in sound.
  • Sound Design: Create and manipulate audio elements to enhance productions, including sound effects and ambient sounds.
  • Live Sound Engineering: Manage audio for live performances, including setting up equipment, monitoring sound levels, and troubleshooting issues.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with artists, producers, and other technical staff to achieve the desired sound quality.
  • Maintenance: Maintain and troubleshoot audio equipment to ensure it is in good working condition.
  • Quality Control: Conduct sound checks and make adjustments to achieve optimal audio quality.


Working Conditions:

  • May involve irregular hours, including nights and weekends for live events.
  • Work in studios, on location, or at event venues.


Additional Information:

  • Certifications in audio engineering or related fields are a plus.
  • Knowledge of music theory and production techniques can enhance performance in this role.

Requirements

We are looking for a Sounds Engineering!

  • At least Senior High School Graduate / NC II Holder.
  • 5-7 years of Events Experience.
  • 25 - 35 years of Age.
  • Can start ASAP.
  • Must be familiar using Digital Audio Consult.
  • Diploma
  • Audio-Video Products Servicing Leading to Consumer Electronics NC II 
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in audio engineering, music production, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience: Proven experience in sound engineering, either in studio or live environments.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in audio software (e.g., Pro Tools, Logic Pro, Ableton Live) and familiarity with various audio hardware.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong listening skills and an ear for quality sound.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot technical issues quickly and effectively.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal communication skills to collaborate with team members and clients.
