Hand Welding

Fabricate and assemble metal structures and equipment through the use of welders, cutters, shapers and measuring tools.
Use multiple welding machines to repair and maintain metal equipment and structures of various sizes.
Read and interpret diagrams, sketches and blueprints to determine operations, required materials and timeframes for projects.
Perform rigorous quality checks to ensure that the welds are strong and durable.
Maintain and manage welding equipment and ensure that they are in perfect working order, adhering to safety protocols.

Educational Qualifications: No formal education degree required; training or certification in welding preferred.
Experience Level: Entry-level position with less than 1 year of experience.
Skills and Competencies: Proficiency in hand welding, ability to read blueprints, knowledge of safety standards, and use of welding tools.
Responsibilities and Duties: Perform welding tasks based on blueprints, ensure welds meet quality standards, maintain equipment, and adhere to safety guidelines.
Working Conditions: Work in various environments, potential exposure to heat, fumes, and noise; must wear protective gear.
