We are urgently seeking a highly experienced Shopify expert who specializes in Multi-Vendor Marketplaces (MVM). This is an exciting opportunity to help us build and manage a dynamic and scalable marketplace. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Shopify website design, product design, product uploads, and managing the onboarding of multiple vendors.

You will play a key role in helping us design and implement our MVM on Shopify, ensuring a smooth and efficient setup for vendors and customers. The role is remote, offering full flexibility to work from home, with an immediate start for the right person.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop a Shopify-based Multi-Vendor Marketplace (MVM) from scratch.
• Create an intuitive and visually appealing marketplace layout that enhances user experience.
• Manage the entire website design process, ensuring functionality and aesthetics are optimized for multi-vendor platforms.
• Lead product design, including the customization of product pages, categorization, and layout for multiple vendors.
• Handle product uploads efficiently and ensure seamless integration for new products and vendors.
• Set up the process for onboarding and adding new vendors to the platform, ensuring they have a smooth experience in uploading and managing their products.
• Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment with business goals and vision for the marketplace.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in Shopify, specifically in creating and managing Multi-Vendor Marketplaces (MVM).
• Strong portfolio showcasing previous Shopify MVM projects, including website and product design.
• Solid experience in managing product uploads, vendor onboarding, and adding new vendors to a multi-vendor marketplace.
• Familiarity with Shopify apps and plugins that enhance MVM functionality (e.g., Multi-Vendor Marketplace, Marketplace in a Box, etc.).
• Excellent attention to detail, ensuring that design and functionality align with the best user experience practices.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work remotely with a team, managing time effectively to meet deadlines.
• Ability to start immediately and contribute from day one in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with third-party apps that complement multi-vendor functionality in Shopify.
• Background in eCommerce, specifically in creating user-friendly multi-vendor platforms.
• Familiarity with SEO best practices for Shopify to help enhance searchability for products and vendors.
