Description
- Fabricate, position, and align ship parts such as bulkheads, decks, and frames using hand and power tools.
- Operate welding equipment, grinders, and other tools necessary for fitting tasks.
- Assist in the repair and replacement of worn or damaged ship components.
Requirement
- Educational Qualifications: Candidates must have a minimum of a High/Senior High School degree.
- Experience Level: Seeking individuals with 1-3 years of experience in a related field.
- Skills and Competencies: Proficiency in blueprint interpretation, problem-solving, adherence to safety protocols, metal fabrication, tack welding, and the use of hand tools and jigs.
- Responsibilities and Duties: The role demands interpreting design blueprints, fabricating metal components, ensuring product quality, and maintaining a safe working environment.
- Working Conditions: The job may involve working in various environmental conditions, including noisy and potentially hazardous environments, requiring strict safety compliance.
