Description

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Fire Alarm Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge and hands-on experience in installing, testing, troubleshooting, and maintaining both conventional and addressable fire alarm systems. This role requires a proactive individual who can ensure that fire alarm systems are operating effectively and in compliance with safety regulations. The Senior Technician will also be responsible for creating detailed inspection reports and documenting any issues.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Installation: Install fire alarm systems, including conventional and addressable systems, according to industry standards and manufacturer specifications.
  • Testing: Conduct comprehensive testing of fire alarm systems to ensure proper functionality and compliance with safety standards. Perform functional and operational tests to validate system performance.
  • Troubleshooting and Repair: Diagnose and resolve complex issues related to fire alarm systems. Perform repairs and replacements as needed to restore system functionality.
  • Preventive Maintenance: Execute routine preventive maintenance tasks to ensure fire alarm systems remain in optimal working condition. Perform regular inspections and updates to system components.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain detailed inspection reports, documenting all findings, repairs, and maintenance activities. Ensure accurate and thorough record-keeping of system issues and resolutions.
  • Compliance: Ensure all work adheres to local, state, and federal regulations and standards related to fire alarm systems. Stay updated with changes in codes and best practices.
  • Customer Interaction: Provide technical support and guidance to clients and internal teams. Address and resolve any concerns or questions regarding fire alarm systems.
  • Mentorship: Offer training and support to junior technicians, sharing knowledge and expertise to enhance team capabilities.

Requirement

• Knowledgeable in Installing Fire Alarm System (Conventional and Addressable System)

• Knowledgeable on how to conduct testing of fire alarm system to ensure that the system is working properly.

• Has an ability to perform troubleshooting and repair fire alarm systems.

• Knowledgeable on how to conduct preventive maintenance.

• Knowledgeable on how to make detailed inspection report and documenting any issues.

• NC II Holder or any certification related to Fire alarm system.
