Senior Accounting Officer

Description
- Monitor and review accounting documents and reports for accuracy and completeness.
- Compile and analyze financial information to prepare journal entries to update general ledgers and trial balance.
- Check and review accounting business transactions such as check vouchers, official receipts, bank reconciliations,
- other related accounting data.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly BIR compliance report of withholding tax and VAT.
- Prepare quarterly and yearly BIR compliance report of Income Tax.
- Prepare and remit monthly contributions of SSS, Philhealth, and Pag-ibig.
- Prepare monthly profit and loss summary, balance sheet, and cash flow.
- Review quarter performance of accounting personnel and make necessary adjustment for work improvement.
- Facilitate annual renewal of all related documents to secure business permit, BIR registration, and other documents requested by government agencies.
- Filing of confidential documents related to company.
- Prepare weekly disbursement requests for funding.
- Prepare income and cost projection for new projects.
- Perform other related duties.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years’ proven experience as a public accountant.
- CPA certification is a requirement.
- Outstanding tax knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical skills.
- Solid understanding of accounting software and MS Office.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
