Description

The Sales Associate (Field Sales) is responsible for generating revenue through direct sales efforts, including field visits to existing and potential clients. This role involves building and maintaining relationships with corporate clients, event organizers, travel agencies, and other business sources to increase hotel bookings and services utilization.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Field Sales:
  • Conduct regular visits to corporate offices, event management companies, travel agencies, and other potential clients to promote hotel services.
  • Identify new business opportunities and establish connections with prospective clients.
  • Attend trade shows, conferences, and networking events to represent the hotel and generate leads.
  • Client Relationship Management:
  • Maintain relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business and client satisfaction.
  • Follow up on leads generated from field visits, marketing campaigns, and referrals.
  • Coordinate with clients to understand their requirements and tailor hotel services accordingly.
  • Sales & Marketing:
  • Promote hotel services including room bookings, conference facilities, catering, and special events.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement sales strategies.
  • Prepare and present sales proposals, quotations, and contracts to clients.
  • Work closely with the reservations and operations teams to ensure smooth execution of events and stays.
  • Reporting & Analysis:
  • Monitor sales performance against targets and prepare regular sales reports for management.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to refine sales strategies.
  • Provide insights and suggestions to improve hotel offerings based on field experiences.
  • Administrative Duties:
  • Maintain accurate records of all sales activities, client interactions, and contracts.
  • Manage a portfolio of clients, including regular follow-ups and updates.
  • Assist in budgeting and forecasting sales targets.


Requirement

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality, or related field is preferred.
  • Experience: 1-3 years of sales experience in the hospitality industry or similar field, with a focus on field sales.
  • Skills:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong negotiation and sales closing abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.
  • Willingness to travel frequently within the assigned territory.
