Description
- Assess workplace health and safety hazards and enforce compliance with safety regulations in construction sites.
- Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments to identify potential risks and ensure adherence to MSK Group Work, Inc. safety policies.
- Organize and lead safety training sessions for all employees, promoting a culture of safety-first across all operations.
- Investigate accidents, maintain records of safety-related incidents, and implement corrective measures.
- Liaise with regulatory bodies and report on safety performance metrics in relation to construction industry standards.
Requirements
- Educational Qualifications: Minimum of a Diploma degree in safety management, health, or relevant field.
- Experience Level: Candidates should have 1-3 years of experience in a safety officer role or similar position.
- Skills and Competencies: Proficiency in safety management, first aid training, emergency response protocols, and medical knowledge. Excellent communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities are required.
- Responsibilities and Duties: Develop and implement safety policies, conduct risk assessments, train staff in safety protocols, respond to emergencies, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Working Conditions: Must be willing to work in various environments, potentially hazardous conditions, and to be on call for emergencies.
- Qualities and Traits: A proactive nature, attention to detail, high level of responsibility, strong leadership qualities, and the ability to remain calm in stressful situations.
