Reporting administratively to the site Project Head and functionally to the ESH Superintendent, the Safety and Health Officer is responsible in planning, organizing, developing, implementing, controlling, and promoting activities and programs of Environmental, Occupational Safety and Health to ensure the safety of life and property within the organization.

• Oversees the management of the Occupational Safety & Health (OSH) program of the site in coordination with the OSH Committee and site Project Superintendent/Manager
• Frequently monitor and inspect any health or safety aspect of the operation being undertaken with the participation of supervisors and workers.

• Minimum 3 years proven experience as SafetY Officer
• In depth knowledge of legislation (e.g. OSHA/EPA) and procedures
• Knowledge of potentially hazardous materials or practices
• Experience in writing reports and policies for health and safety
• Familiarity with conducting data analysis and reporting statistics
