Job Overview

The Research Manager plays a critical role within our real estate consultancy firm, leading the research department to provide strategic guidance, in-depth market analysis, and actionable insights that inform clients’ real estate decisions. This position involves overseeing internal research projects, conducting market studies, managing a team of analysts, and delivering high-quality advisory services. The Research Manager will ensure the team provides clients with comprehensive and data-driven reports that support their investment, development, and leasing strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the team in conducting thorough market research to identify trends, opportunities, and risks in the real estate sector.
  • Analyze data on property values, rental rates, market competition, economic indicators, and other relevant metrics to provide actionable insights.
  • Provide strategic, data-driven recommendations to clients based on market research findings to guide their real estate investments and decisions.
  • Work closely with clients to understand their real estate goals and align them with market conditions, emerging trends, and industry best practices.
  • Oversee the creation of detailed reports, market studies, feasibility studies, and presentations that summarize research findings and offer strategic recommendations.
  • Effectively communicate complex data and research results to clients and stakeholders in a clear, concise, and understandable manner.
  • Lead and mentor a team of researchers, analysts, and associates, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high-quality work and professional development.
  • Ensure the research team produces accurate, reliable, and high-quality work that meets client expectations and firm standards.
  • Manage and prioritize multiple research projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project timelines and budgets.
  • Stay informed of changes and developments in the real estate market, including regulatory changes, new technologies, and economic trends that may impact client strategies.
  • Work closely with senior leadership and other departments (e.g., sales, marketing, leasing) to integrate research findings into broader business strategies and service offerings.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor and providing timely insights and solutions.
  • Innovation: Continuously explore new research methodologies, tools, and technologies to enhance the team's capabilities and improve the quality of service to clients.

Requirement

  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a research-related role, with a strong focus on real estate markets, property development, and real estate economics.
  • A Master’s degree in Economics, Statistics, or Applied Mathematics is an advantage.
  • Proven experience in commercial real estate research and understanding of various property sectors (e.g., residential, commercial, industrial).
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to process large datasets, identify trends, and provide actionable insights.
  • Excellent writing skills with the ability to produce clear, concise, and well-structured reports and presentations.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills (both written and oral) with the ability to present complex data to non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Based in Quezon City or willing to relocate.
