Mayan Solutions Inc. is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Engineer to support the successful deployment of a corporate website and web application for our client. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of both manual and automated testing methods and be skilled at identifying issues, ensuring quality standards, and working collaboratively with development teams. As a QA Engineer, you will be responsible for executing thorough testing to ensure a seamless user experience and a high-quality final product. • Design, develop, and execute test cases tailored to a corporate website and web application, ensuring thorough coverage of all functional, usability, and performance aspects.
• Perform both manual and automated testing to detect defects, track performance, and validate fixes, ensuring a seamless and user-friendly experience.
• Collaborate with development, design, and product teams to understand project requirements, functionality, and quality expectations.
• Test across multiple devices, browsers, and platforms to ensure compatibility and a consistent user experience.
• Document and communicate issues clearly, prioritizing resolutions with the development team to maintain project timelines and quality standards.
• Conduct regression, functional, and post-release testing to validate functionality and resolve issues.
• Develop and maintain detailed test documentation, including test plans, cases, and scenarios specific to the corporate website and web app environment.
• Conduct functional, usability, and performance testing, providing regular feedback to developers on quality metrics and areas for improvement.
• Track and document defects in a clear, structured format, facilitating prompt resolution and verification.
• Engage in cross-browser and cross-platform testing to ensure compatibility and responsiveness on various devices and screen sizes.
• Work with project managers and developers to prioritize and address high-impact issues.
• Conduct testing in line with industry best practices, reporting on project quality and testing progress.
• Regularly update stakeholders on testing outcomes and findings through status reports and recommendations.

• Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer, with a strong portfolio of website and web application testing projects.
• Deep understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes relevant to web and app testing.
• Experience with manual testing and familiarity with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress) for web applications.
• Knowledge of defect tracking systems (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla) and version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to identify and communicate front-end issues.
• Ability to conduct cross-browser testing on multiple devices, ensuring consistent user experiences.
• Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive problem-solving approach.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively and work independently.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
