As a Jr. Functional Tester, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of software applications through meticulous testing and validation processes. You will work closely with development teams to identify and resolve issues, ensuring that our solutions meet the highest standards of quality and performance.

• Execute functional test cases and scenarios to validate software functionality.
• Identify, document, and track defects and issues using appropriate tools.
• Collaborate with developers and business analysts to understand requirements and design test plans.
• Perform regression testing to ensure existing functionalities are not affected by new changes.
• Participate in test planning, test case design, and test execution activities.
• Provide clear and concise test reports and status updates to stakeholders.
• Assist in the development and maintenance of automated test scripts.
• Ensure compliance with testing standards and best practices.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 2-3 years of experience in functional testing or a similar role.
• Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
• Proficiency in using testing tools such as JIRA, Selenium, or similar.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Amenable to work FULL TIME ONSITE (BGC/Eastwood)

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks.
• Knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
• Familiarity with SQL and database testing.
