Description

  • Manage procurement activities for the diverse talent needs of Helpro Multipurpose Cooperative, a recruitment firm.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to pinpoint hiring requirements and forecast procurement demands.
  • Negotiate with vendors and oversee contract management to ensure cost-effective solutioning for recruitment services.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and establish lasting relationships with suppliers and partners.
  • Ensure compliance with processes, quality standards, and deadlines, contributing to the firm's efficiency and reputation.

Requirements

Educational Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field.


Experience Level:

  • 1-3 years of experience in purchasing or procurement.


Skills and Competencies:

  • Proficiency in marketing research to identify potential vendors.
  • Knowledge of distribution and logistics to manage supply chains efficiently.
  • Strong purchasing skills to ensure high-quality product acquisitions.
  • Excellent time management abilities to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Solid inventory management skills to maintain optimal stock levels.
  • Capable of managing relationships with vendors and negotiating contracts
  • Negotiation skills to secure favorable terms.
  • Experience with canvassing and direct purchasing methods.


Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Develop and implement purchasing strategies
  • Research and evaluate potential vendors and suppliers.
  • Initiate and manage bidding processes.
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing with vendors.
  • Monitor inventory levels and reorder supplies as needed.
  • Ensure timely delivery of products and compliance with contracts.
  • Maintain accurate purchase and pricing records.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure product specifications are met.


Working Conditions:

  • Office setting during standard business hours.
  • Periodic visits to suppliers and trade events may be required.
