Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Payroll Manager to oversee and manage our payroll operations. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of government benefits and the computation of remittances. This role requires a dedicated professional with a strong background in payroll processing and people management.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Payroll Processing: Accurately and timely process payroll for all employees, ensuring compliance with company policies and government regulations.
  • Government Benefits: Manage and ensure accurate computation and remittance of all government-mandated benefits such as SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, and tax withholdings.
  • Compliance: Stay updated with the latest changes in labor laws and government regulations affecting payroll and ensure the company's payroll practices comply with these changes.
  • Reporting: Prepare and submit regular payroll reports and summaries to management, including headcount, payroll costs, and compliance reports.
  • Audits: Conduct regular internal audits of payroll procedures and records to ensure accuracy and compliance. Coordinate with external auditors as needed.
  • System Management: Maintain and update payroll systems and software to ensure efficient and accurate payroll processing.
  • Issue Resolution: Address and resolve any payroll-related issues or discrepancies promptly.
  • Budgeting: Assist in the preparation of payroll budgets and forecasts.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with HR, Finance, and other departments to streamline payroll processes and improve overall efficiency.

Requirement

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in payroll management, with at least 2 years in a managerial role overseeing a team.
  • Knowledge: Extensive knowledge of government benefits and remittance computation.


Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficient in payroll software and MS Office, especially Excel.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Certifications: Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) designation is a plus.
  • Attributes: High integrity, strong organizational skills, and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
