Description

We are hiring for Outpatient Coders for one of our clients in Taguig


The OP Coder is responsible for assigning diagnostic and procedural codes (outpatient surgery, observation, infusion services, and interventional procedure records) to patient charts, of moderate to high complexity, using: ICD-10-CM, CPT and HCPCS or any other designated coding classification system in accordance with coding rules and regulations. They abide by the Standards of Ethical Coding as set forth by AHIMA. Abstracting required clinical information from the medical record.

OP Coder (Same Day Surgery)

• At least 1 year of experience performing Same day surgery and/or Observation medical record coding

• AHIMA or AAPC approved credential


OP Coder

• 1 - 2 years of relevant experience (One year of experience performing medical record coding in acute care setting)

• Completion of basic coding course (academic, seminar, workshop or facility-based), including medical terminology and basic anatomy and physiology, or any)


IP Coder

• High School graduate or equivalent required

• Completion of basic coding course (academic, seminar, workshop or facility based), including medical terminology and basic anatomy and physiology.

• 3-5 years of experience performing inpatient medical record coding in acute care setting


IP Complex Coder

• 3 - 5 years of relevant experience (Three to five years experience performing inpatient medical record coding in acute care setting)

• Completion of basic coding course (academic, seminar, workshop or facility-based), including medical terminology and basic anatomy and physiology, or any)


Coding Supervisor

• Bachelor’s Degree in any allied health field

• CPC, COC, or CCS Certification

• 5+ Years Coding Experience

• 6+ months of Leadership Experience


Pro-Fee Coder

• At least 2 years of professional coding in a multispecialty environment.

• Experience in Evaluation and Management coding (E/M)

• Must have: AHIMA or AAPC coding credentials (CPC, CCS)


Ambulatory Coder

• Minimum 2 years surgical coding experience

• CPT Coding Certification from AAPC or AHIMA

• ICD-10 Proficiency Certification
