Overview of Role:

 

To identify, research and contact senior level and specialist job title executives within the Healthcare and Life Sciences sectors. To be able to present our series of Strategy Meetings, Roundtables and peripheral offerings with full agenda and with benefits of attending to the qualified decision maker. To build rapport with senior level delegates and where/when possible introduce them to sponsors. The role is predominantly telephone based, so you must have a professional, concise approach and excellent communication skills (listening, speaking, writing). As things progress, there will be plenty of opportunities to travel and work on more in person events.


Main Responsibilities:

 

  • To establish contact with key decision makers and deliver a compelling and intelligent pitch in line with the company and event requirements
  • To ensure effective communication throughout the delegate journey. Ensuring the event reaches customer expectations at all levels
  • Ensure all personal targets are regularly met
  • To nurture and maintain interest for all delegates and ensure live attendance/logins live on the day and to ensure engagement with sponsors through intros or scheduled meetings.
  • To respond to delegate enquiries in a prompt and professional manner ensuring correct information is communicated
  • Clear communication with all stakeholders where required, ensuring client needs are met and achieved
  • Ensuring all business is fully compliant and meets company requirements
  • Work as a part of a team in achieving event targets
  • To ensure the company’s CRM system is updated and kept accordingly and to be organised in splitting time between nurturing and new delegate acquisition.
  • To be able to provide visibility into pipelines and forecasts on expected attendee number for each event.

Requirements

About You:


  • Previous event sales experience preferred, both virtual and in person/onsite experience and on an international basis
  • B2B experience in the Events industry desirable but not essential
  • Resilience and proactivity
  • Willingness to exceed targets
  • Strong communication skills
  • Tenacious, articulate and confident in engaging at Director and CEO level
  • Experience of using Zoho CRM advantageous.
  • Ability to work on multiple types of events at the same time.
  • Experience of working under pressure to tight deadlines with targets to hit.
  • Desire to succeed and to over deliver and be helpful to external delegates.
  • Desire to collaborate within the company across different departments.
  • Strong ability to work as a team towards achieving overall goals.
