About the role


The Operations Associate for Card Ops will focus on card stability mainly on outstanding and recurring issues as well as maintain and ensure that Bank’s card payment processes are within the industry standards.

• Monitoring: Daily monitoring of the card payments transaction including but not limited to success and decline rate as well as transaction reversal trends for POS, ATM, and EComm. Daily monitoring of Bancnet NSMS and VISA REACT limit.

• Troubleshooting: Performs basic troubleshooting in coordination with the internal team, counterparties, and third-party partners such as ATM Switch provider, Bancnet, and VISA for incidents of card payment denials

• Reporting: Prepare reports on a regular basis summarizing card payment transaction trends, results of compliance with the scheme’s approval rating standards, and status and tracker reports for outstanding and recurring issues for card payment incidents.

• Escalation: Raise ticket to ATM Switch provider for incidents of card payment declined/denials, delayed OCT processing, and other related incidents impacting card transaction

• Issue Follow-up and Resolution: Responsible in tracking and follow-up of outstanding and recurring issues until resolved.

• Inquiry Response: Provide timely responses to inquiries, requests, and investigations from the internal team, external counterparties, and third-party partners.

• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with internal and external stakeholders and counterparties to build and maintain relationships.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in any IT-related field

• Extensive work experience in a Bank, payment gateway, or aggregator as system support.

• Knowledgeable or familiar in

• ISO 8583 messaging

• ISO 20022 messaging

• VISA online

• EFPS
