Description
- Assess the needs and abilities of Children with various physical, developmental, and emotional challenges
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment and goals
- Implement therapeutic interventions to create a supportive therapeutic environment
- Educate parents and caregivers on how to support their child's development at home
- Monitor and documents the progress of each child and adjust treatment plans as necessary
- Use a variety of therapeutic techniques and tools to engage children in therapy
- Provide guidance and support to families navigating the Healthcare system
Requirement
- Successful completion of the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) exam
- Completion of an accredited occupational therapy program
- Good moral character, supported by professional references and clearances
- Physically and mentally fit to perform occupational therapist duties
- Possess the necessary knowledge, skills, and attitude to deliver high-quality therapy services
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Empathy and compassion for patients
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team
