Description

Position Title: Logistics Operations Intern Location: Hallare Building 3/F, #10 East Capitol Drive, Kapitolyo Pasig City, Philippines 1600

Reports To: Operations Manager

Key Responsibilities:

1. Order Processing and Fulfillment

• Assist in processing incoming orders, preparing documentation, and coordinating with warehouse or dispatch teams to ensure timely delivery.

• Track orders from placement to final delivery and update status in the system.

2. Inventory Management

• Support inventory control tasks, such as stock counting, tracking inventory levels, and restocking.

• Help ensure that the inventory data is accurate, updated, and any discrepancies are reported promptly.

3. Route Planning and Scheduling

• Assist in planning and scheduling delivery routes to maximize efficiency.

• Coordinate with Operations Supervisor and Operations Manager to ensure they have the necessary information of the routes of the parcels.

4. Customer Service Support

• Communicate with customers regarding delivery status, order issues, and general inquiries. • Assist in tracking and monitoring the shipments.

• Handle complaints or concerns from customers professionally and escalate issues when necessary.

5. Data Entry and Documentation

• Maintain accurate records of orders, deliveries, and inventory in the company’s system.

• Ensure that all necessary paperwork, like delivery notes and invoices, is completed and filed correctly.

6. Operational Reporting

• Assist in creating reports on delivery timelines, inventory status, and order accuracy. 7. Assisting with Process Improvements

• Identify areas where logistics processes can be improved, such as reducing delivery times or improving order accuracy.

• Participate in brainstorming sessions and propose new methods to streamline operations.

8. Ensuring Compliance with Safety Standards

• Report any safety issues or concerns to supervisors.

9. Supporting Ad Hoc Tasks and Projects

• Assist in special projects related to logistics, company organization, and process optimization.

• Support team members with tasks that arise due to operational needs or seasonal demands.

Requirement

• Currently enrolled in a degree program related to Business Administration, Logistics, Supply

Chain Management, or a similar field.

• With 300 hours or above required by school for internship;

• Can provide Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) from the School.

• Competency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint for documentation and reporting.

• A keen eye for detail is essential to ensure accurate data entry, reporting, and inventory

tracking.

• Ability to handle multiple tasks without compromising accuracy.

• Strong customer service skills are a plus, especially for roles that involve customer support.

• Willingness to take on different tasks and support team members as needed.

• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively, especially when handling multiple

responsibilities simultaneously.

• Transportation allowance is provided;

• Willing to do the internship on-site in Pasig City;

Salary: Php 300.00 per day (free rice)

Schedule: Monday to Friday (9:00 AM – 6:00 PM)
