Description
- Manage the organization and maintenance of Chiang Kai Shek College's library collections.
- Assist students and faculty in locating and utilizing educational resources.
- Develop and administer library policies and procedures.
- Engage in training and education activities to enhance research and learning outcomes.
- Collaborate with academic departments on library acquisitions.
- Implement digital library systems and manage online databases.
- Promote literacy and a lifelong love of learning among students.
Requirement
- Educational Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Library Science, Information Science, or a related field.
- Experience Level: 1-3 years of experience working in a library setting.
- Skills and Competencies: Proficient in library management systems, excellent organizational skills, adept in digital and print resource management.
- Responsibilities and Duties: Cataloging and maintaining library resources, assisting patrons with research, managing library programs and outreach activities.
- Working Conditions: Work mainly in a quiet library environment; may require evenings and weekends.
- Qualities and Traits: Detail-oriented, strong customer service orientation, passionate about knowledge and learning, effective communicator.
