The steward is responsible for performing various activities such as processing materials, basic inventory, and storage management. S/he assists the inventory keeper in receiving and/or releasing materials as well as participating in area maintenance in order to meet job orders on time and in full while ensuring conformance to standards.

MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Food Safety and Quality Compliance
• Equipment and Chemical Handling
• Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Compliance
• Good Warehousing Practices (GWP) Compliance
• Good Documentation Practices (GDP) Compliance

• At least High School Graduate with at least six (6) months experience
• Knowledgeable in basic manufacturing process flow.
• Knowledgeable in basic Food Safety and Quality.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Exposure to cold and/or hot environment
• Extensive walking, standing, lifting and carrying heavy-weighted materials
• Wearing of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
• Exposure to potential food allergens
• Exposure to chemicals.
