DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Lead the engineering team in the design, development, and execution of building and structural designs for vertical construction projects.
2. Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring all costs are accurately forecasted and controlled. 
3. Ensure that all designs comply with applicable building codes, regulations (e.g., NBCP - National Building Code of the Philippines), and industry standards.
4. Provide technical guidance on structural and architectural designs, including the selection of materials, structural systems, and construction methods.
5. Supervise engineering activities throughout the construction process, including design reviews, procurement, and site implementation.
6. Review and approve structural calculations, drawings, and material specifications for all building and infrastructure works.
7. Oversee the preparation of construction documents, including detailed plans, specifications, and schedules for vertical projects.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field. 
• Minimum 8-10 years of experience in vertical construction, building, and structural engineering, with at least 3-5 years in a managerial role.
• Proven experience managing large-scale residential, commercial, or mixed-use building projects in Metro Manila or similar urban environments.
• Expertise in structural design, materials, and building systems (e.g., reinforced concrete, steel structures, building facades).
• Experience with PCAB-accredited contractors and a deep understanding of the National Building Code of the Philippines (NBCP) and other local building regulations.
• Familiarity with local authorities and permit acquisition processes in Metro Manila. 
• Full-time role, office-based with frequent site visits in Metro Manila. 
• Occasional overtime required depending on project timelines and construction activities.
