JOB SUMMARY

CLASSIFY, COMPUTE AND DECLARE CORRECT AND RIGHTFUL AMOUNT OF DUTIES AND TAXES AND FILE ALL TYPES OF DECLARATIONS VIA ELECTRONIC SYSTEM

 PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Compute duties and taxes and submit to designated Coordinator
• Lodge Import Entry once computed duties and taxes is approved by client and wait for the response of the BOC system to print SAD and TAN/FAN
• Check from time to time response from BOC thru VASP, if there is a good response then print the TAD & SAD and provide copy to designated coordinator
• Apply Import Permit and send to designated coordinator for checking and approval of client
• Proceed import entry lodgement once approved (by PEZA) and shipment is confirm arrived and manifested
• Check correctness of all accompanying documents such as shipping documents, contracts, certificates, etc.
• Check and verify if the import documents require permits and clearances
• Communicate with immediate superior regarding declaration problems
• Perform other tasks that may be assigned by immediate superior from time to time

Education and Experience

• BS Customs Administration Graduate
• At least 2 years work related experience
• Certifications and Licenses (optional but advantageous)

Languages and Communication Skills

• Good communication skills, both written and oral
• Ability to communicate and interact effectively with internal and external customers

Computer Skills

• Computer literate (Microsoft Office)

Other Skills/ Experience

• In-depth knowledge of all products and services
• With good people skills
