Description
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations on construction sites.
- Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments.
- Develop and implement safety training programs for staff.
- Investigate accidents and safety incidents, providing reports and recommendations.
- Collaborate with project managers to promote a safety-first culture.
- Monitor the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Stay updated on industry standards and best practices.
Requirements
- Educational Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Construction Management, or related field.
- Experience Level: Less than 1 year of relevant experience in construction safety.
- Skills and Competencies: SO3 Safety Officer certification, excellent communication skills, and knowledge of safety regulations.
- Responsibilities and Duties: Conduct safety inspections, develop safety plans, and train workers on safety procedures.
- Working Conditions: On-site presence at construction sites, with potential exposure to weather and hazardous materials.
- Qualities and Traits: Detail-oriented, proactive, strong leadership abilities, and a commitment to safety.
