Description

The Construction Manager oversees various initiatives and aspects of site construction for solar projects, ensuring they are completed on time and meet the project owners’ requirements. This role involves monitoring project progress, managing construction activities, and ensuring that all aspects of the construction process align with the project specifications and standards.

 

Key responsibilities:

· Oversee and manage site construction activities, ensuring adherence to project timelines and quality standards.

· Coordinate with project teams and stakeholders to monitor progress and address any issues that arise.

· Ensure that all construction activities comply with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

· Review and approve construction plans and documentation.

· Facilitate effective communication between project owners, contractors, and other stakeholders.

· Implement best practices and procedures to ensure project efficiency and safety.

· Address and resolve any construction-related issues or challenges promptly.

· Provide regular updates and reports on project status to senior management and stakeholders.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Civil, or Mechanical Engineering, or a related field; preferably registered engineer.

· 12-15 years of significant experience in project construction within the power generation sector, with a focus on utility-scale solar projects.

· Proven experience in the construction of Solar PV Plants, Substations, or Transmission Lines.

· Strong technical expertise in project delivery; additional experience in regulatory requirements and community relations is advantageous.

· Willingness to be assigned in Nueva Ecija.

· Open to a project-based contract status.
